The CYPRES combines two functions in one device: Training mode for all jumps at local drop zones, as CYPRES automatically calibrates to GND level (QFE) and monitors the parachuting activity. Operational mode for all jumps to a remote landing area, easy to set the device to the landing elevation, using absolute air pressure (mbar / In.Hg) wherever you are, during flight, in pressure cabin or pre boarding.
Military models:
1000/35A 1500/35A
1900/35A 2500/29A
Air Crew SLS
Military CYPRES 2 1000/35 A: This model is designed for versatile military use with mid size canopies and light payload for single jumper. This activation setting reflects the short opening distance of mid sized tactical square parachutes.
Military CYPRES 2 1500/35 A: This CYPRES is developed and qualified to various applications using tactical canopies and higher payload. The increased activation altitude of 1500 ft. Is addressed to the larger opening distance of the majority of tactical canopies in the field.
Military CYPRES 2 1900/35 A: This CYPRES is specialized to the needs of military tandem jumps with typical tandem canopies and payloads. Taking into consideration the higher altitude for tandem canopy deployment in conjunction with the extensive deployment distance of the tandem reserve canopy, this device is set to 1900 ft. activation altitude.
Military CYPRES 2 2500/29 A: This CYPRES is customized for the Bundle Master when jumping with tethered bundle payload. The activation altitude of 2500 ft. addresses large size parachute deployment and heavy loads. The activation speed of 29 m/s is adjusted to the slower fall rate under large bundle drogue after bundle load cutaway. For the bundle delivery parachute, we recommend a vertical separation of 1000 ft. minimum. A combination with the 1500/35A model would be our recommendation.
Aircrew CYPRES 2: This CYPRES is dedicated to assist an airmen in the emergency situation after a bailout from the aircraft or an unintentional fall out of the aircraft (working at open tailgates, etc.).
CYPRES Static Line System (SLS): For decades there has been the wish for a reliable life saving device for low level static line missions. The complex topic, shortest time frames and low exit altitudes made a solution impossible. But only until today. The combination of proven CYPRES technology, newest scientific findings and state of the art engineering know-how from the experts in AAD construction provides a solution, which is not only astonishing because of its technical finesse but also because of its ease of use.
With the simplicity of only one interaction (switch on) the systems runs self test, calibrates to Drop zone ground level and monitors the skydiving activities for the next 14 hours to come. CYPRES features an automatic shut off after a 14 hour working period. Due to the lower operating range regard service ceiling and working temperature this model is not recommended for HAHO, HALO missions.
Civilian models:
Expert CYPRES 2
Student CYPRES 2
Expert CYPRES 2: This CYPRES originally is designed for all sport disciplines in parachuting. This proven model is the right unit for Military Display Teams, Competition Teams jumping accuracy, Instructors, using sport Parachute equipment. The activation altitude of 750 ft. and the activation speed of 35 m/sec is customized to the exact needs of the modern sport skydiver.
Student CYPRES 2: This special Student CYPRES is dedicated to all equipment, for student training. The lower activation speed of 13 m/sec and the activation altitude of 1000 ft. is designed to monitor all student emergency situations, like line over, partial canopy inflation, and spinning malfunctions under open canopy, as well as all free fall scenarios that can occur. This proven parameters for activation gives the parachuting training school the confidence of the most efficient safety when it comes to train parachuting personnel.
