The Sport Tandem CYPRES 2 is an AAD designed to activate at higher altitudes to accommodate the deployment of larger canopies used during tandem operations.
The Sport (civilian) Tandem CYPRES 2 is an Automatic Activation Device (AAD) designed for tandem skydiving. The default activation altitude is high to accommodate for full opening of the large canopies used during tandem operations:
- Default altitude: 1900 ft.
- Activation speed: approx. 35 m/s
