Slider Mounted Lighting System

The CPS LSM Slider Mounted Lighting System, aka LSM, is an aftermarket, parachute slider-mounted lighting system used for collision prevention and tracking. The LSM visually marks parachutists and aerial loads under canopy by providing a combination of direct lighting, illumination of the slider and bottom surface of the canopy. Visible light and infrared light models available.

Two high-intensity LED-based luminaires connect to a battery/electronics module (single CR123 cell), providing steady on or flashing modes. A short-rigged activation lanyard ensures automatic operation upon slider deployment.

Can be sewn directly onto the slider or attached with Velcro for quick removal and replacement in the field. Dimensions and configurations are customized to each parachute system. Total weight 2.4 oz.
