The Quattro from LB Altimeters is an audible altimeter that is specifically designed for skydiving disciplines where extra awareness is a must: big ways, formation skydiving, freeflying, wingsuiting, instructing and coaching, and canopy-related activities such as accuracy and CRW.
The Quattro features micro technology and advanced programming for precisely measuring freefall and canopy descent rates. It offers three climb-to-altitude warnings, four high-speed warnings (up to 19,990 feet), and three canopy-descent and low-speed warnings, providing added interactivity in configuring frequently used warning alarms. There are separate, adjustable freefall and canopy flight volume control settings.
The track guide delivers 0.5 second pulsating tones between the first and second warnings to help keep track of altitude separation of tracking groups or waves. The canopy-descent alerts are essentially low speed alerts and can also be used by wingsuit flyers to keep track of altitude in preparation for separation and canopy deployment.
Built-in mounting holes ensure the Quattro fits any helmet, inside or outside. Its thin, ergonomic design ensures a comfortable, in-helmet fit, and the rubberized coating ensures durability. An LCD screen offers easy, intuitive operation. Easy and quick to set on the ground or in the aircraft and if the DZ elevation differs from that of the airport. Displays present altitude during climb. Altitude selection interval: 10 feet or 10 meters.
Pair with the Viso II+ for complete altitude awareness.
