The CPS Operational Reserve (OR) Series is a tactical reserve canopy designed to support heavy weights (AUW 325-450 lbs) at high altitudes during HAHO operations. The OR-Series reserve complements MS-Series and has similar performance characteristics to other nine-cell CPS mains.
The CPS OR-Series is an advanced, nine-cell elliptical reserve parachute designed to support airborne operations for solo jumpers outfitted with full combat equipment or carrying heavy loads (all up weight of 355-490 lbs) at high altitudes (HAHO/HALO capable of 35,000 feet).
It parallels the performance of other CPS nine-cell mains, complements the Military Silhouette (MS) Series, and offers operational weight limits higher than a comparable seven-cell reserve of similar size.
Constructed from 0.5-3cfm ripstop nylon fabric with untreated polyester lines.
