The CPS Military Silhouette (MS) Series is a tactical main canopy that offers an increase in offset capability beyond that of the CPS Tactical Main (TM) Series, while maintaining the TM’s landing capabilities. Constructed using a hybrid design, the MS-Series canopy is available in the M1 and M2 configuration.
The CPS Military Silhouette (MS) Series is a medium aspect ratio, moderately tapered, nine-cell tactical main canopy that offers an increase in offset capability beyond that of the CPS Tactical Main (TM) Series, while maintaining the TM’s capability of landing in tight areas using braked approaches. The MS-Series canopy is available in two configurations: M1 and M2.
- MS-M1 – designed for freefall operations only
- MS-M2 – compatible with freefall and double bag static line operations
Constructed using an easy-to-pack hybrid design of 1.1 oz coated zero-porosity ripstop nylon on the top surface and 1.1 oz 0.5-3 cfm nylon ripstop for the remainder of the canopy, MS-Series canopy will provide optimal performance throughout the entire lifespan of the canopy. Dacron suspension lines prevent trim variations to improve glide performance, elasticity which helps prevent excessive shock loads to jumper and canopy.
