Ares II

The Ares II from LB Altimeters is a visual altimeter with a digital display that provides the level of precision required by the military to sport jumpers.

Offers fast and easy altitude offset and automatically calibrates to local elevation. Stores up to 10 minutes of profile data for the last jump, displays altitude or vertical speed from exit to landing, and records and displays jump information about the last 200 jumps, including:

• Exit altitude
• Deployment altitude
•  Freefall time
•  Max speed in freefall
•  Max speed under canopy

Built from aircraft grade aluminum and equipped with a 2mm thick hardened glass lens, the Ares II is shock resistant and waterproof up to three feet for two hours. It has a large, hi-def LCD screen with an on/off backlight; displays in feet or meters, mph or kmh; and includes a new LB Altimeter tool and velcro hand mount (elastic wrist mount sold separately). Operating altitude 0 to 40,000 feet; operational at sub-zero temperatures. Uses 2 Renata 3V lithium CR2325. Several color options available.
