Alfa

The Alfa LB Tactical Altimeter is an IR controlled (optional) visual altimeter that automatically calibrates to local elevation and provides easy and fast altitude/QFE offset.

It makes the perfect altitude awareness system when paired with the audible Echo LB Tactical Altimeter. When coupled with the Altiset II, a jumpmaster/mission commander can preset the mBar to the same reading for a small group/entire load via the IR receiver, giving greater adjustment between takeoff points and dropzone variations.

Records and displays jump information about the last 200 jumps, including:

• Exit altitude
• Deployment altitude
• Freefall time
• Max speed in freefall
• Max speed under canopy

Built from aircraft grade aluminum and equipped with a 2mm thick hardened glass lens, the Alfa is shock resistant and waterproof up to five feet for 24 hours. It has a large, hi-def LCD screen with an adjustable backlight; displays in feet or meters, mph or kmh; and includes a velcro hand mount. Operating altitude 0 to 40,000 feet; temperature range of -30°C to +60°C. Uses 2 Renata 3V lithium CR2325.
