The Military CYPRES 2 1900/35 A supports slick military tandem and multi-mission solo operations or with heavy loads. AAD activation settings allow for the higher altitude for tandem canopy deployment and the extensive deployment distance required for a tandem reserve.
The Military CYPRES 2 1900/35 A Automatic Activation Device (AAD) accommodates slick (i.e., no combat equipment) military tandem jumps and multi-mission solo operations or with heavy loads.
Activation settings accommodate for the higher altitude required for tandem canopy deployment and the extensive deployment distance of the tandem reserve canopy:
- Activation altitude: approx. 1900 ft.
- Activation speed: approx. 35 m/s
Do not use for solo jumps with tandem equipment that includes a large drogue system.

Two functions, one device:
- Training Mode: for all jumps at local dropzones; automatically calibrates to ground level (QFE) and monitors the parachuting activity.
- Operational Mode: for all jumps to a remote landing area; sets to the landing elevation using absolute air pressure (mbar/In.Hg).
